This wonderful village is home to its own school district, the Roslyn Union Free School District, which oversees the operation of five schools. Heights School is an excellent pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade school that serves the entire district. Harbor Hill Elementary School and East Hills Elementary School educate children grades second through fifth. Roslyn Middle School serves children in grades sixth through eighth and Roslyn High Schools serves students in grade ninth through twelfth. Roslyn High School is an excellent school, ranked the 342nd best in the United States and the 42nd best in New York.

    In addition to great schools, Roslyn also has wonderful dining options at local favorites such as Besito, Kyma and Kotobuki. Other points of interest in Roslyn include Cedarmere, the Roslyn Pond and the Nassau County Museum of Art.
